What is Offline Availability?
Offline availability means that selected content and features of the application are available even without an internet connection.
This allows users to continue working in the field, at machines, or in environments with poor or no connectivity—without losing access to important knowledge and information.
With offline availability, users can:
access the Service Guide without an internet connection
view previously synchronized machines while offline
use troubleshooting and routines in offline mode
Important notes and current limitations of Offline Availability (Beta)
Only previously synchronized content is available offline.
The offline version does not yet support chains.
No logbook entries are created while working in offline mode.
Longer loading times may occur.
Supported browsers: Chrome, Safari, and Edge
(Firefox is currently not supported).
Media limitation: Offline mode currently supports images only — no videos and no PDFs.
Device requirements:
3 GB disk space
6 GB RAM
Android Version 15 or higher
iOS only latest version
What do I need to do to use the app offline?
To use the app without an internet connection, you need to save the relevant machines in advance while online. This can be done in two ways:
💡 Pro Tipp: Install findIQ as an app
Add findIQ to your home screen to open it like a regular app. This gives you quick access to your saved content, even when you’re offline.

How do I switch to the offline mode?
As soon as there is no internet connection, the app automatically detects that it is offline. Additionally, users can manually switch the app to offline mode if needed.
Start offline mode automatically
Once you are offline, you will be prompted to reload the page.

After reloading, you will automatically be in offline mode.

Start the offline mode manually
Users can manually switch modes by clicking the cloud icon in the top right corner. This is particularly useful when an internet connection is technically available but unstable or performing poorly.

How do I use the app when I’m offline?
The app can generally be used in the same way as in online mode, with the following differences:
No logbook: In offline mode, no logbook entries are created.
No documents: Documents are currently not available offline.
Longer loading times in troubleshooting: When using the troubleshooting feature, longer loading times may occur.
Media limitations: Offline, only images are available—no videos and no PDFs.
