Where is data stored and who has access?

  • Data is stored in Germany, separately for each customer. Details: Hosting and backups

  • Within your company, your administrators control access, see Roles and access rights.

  • At findIQ, only a small number of senior engineers have access to the production infrastructure. Support access to your content only takes place at your request.

AI

Your data is not used to train AI models. Details: How findIQ uses AI

Logbook

The logbook documents service cases: who opened or processed a case, when, the diagnosis, the fault and the steps taken. It serves traceability, collaboration and improving the knowledge base, not monitoring the performance of employees.

Entries are visible to all users who have access to the machine through their role.

In addition, findIQ logs system events such as error messages and access logs to operate the service.

Ownership and deletion

  • findIQ does not acquire any rights to your data.

  • Users can delete their own account.

  • After the contract ends, your data is returned to you and deleted at findIQ. Backups expire after a maximum of six months. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.

Requests and incidents

findIQ informs you without undue delay about data protection incidents that affect your data. More: Security measures
